Fall Brawl 2009 brings fight fans to Alexandria

On November 14, Charles Houston Recreation Center in Alexandria hosted Fall Brawl 2009 a fun night of amateur boxing that didn't disappoint.

In the 106lb division Avery Anderson from Bald Eagle scored a victory over Vincent Reynolds from Old School Boxing. Carlton Gray from Dream Team boxing club proved to be a nightmare for Delante Cole out of No Excuses Boxing, punishing Cole with both hands on his way to the gold.

In the final bout of the night in the 165lb division Mike Reed from Dream Team battled Aleen Mosher from 9th dimension. Although both boxers were warned for showboating early in the match, the skilled pugilists quickly got to business displaying lightining hand speed and footwork. Bloodied in the 3rd, Mike Reed showed heart pressing Mosher. That night, Reed won the crowd and the fight.

Kareem Martin from Headbangerz Boxing and Donovon Eason from ABC won Fighter of the Night honors in their weight divisions.
